How Connection Work.
When you subscribe to MyTvBoss, your plan includes a certain number of connections. These connections determine how many streams you can play at the same time.
It’s important to note that connections are not tied to the number of devices you own or have the app on. You can install our app on as many devices as you like—phones, tablets, smart TVs, streaming sticks, etc.—without restriction. What matters is how many of those devices are actively streaming at once.
How Connections Work
* Each active stream (watching live TV, Movies, Series, or recording) uses one connection.
* When you stop streaming, that connection is released and becomes available again.
* Multi-screen/split-screen mode uses one connection per panel (e.g., a 4-way split screen requires 4 connections).
* Recordings also use one connection for each program being recorded.
Real-World Examples
When 2 Connections Are Enough
* A couple lives together and usually watches TV in the same room. Occasionally, one person watches something different on a tablet in another room. A 2-connection package covers their needs since they rarely stream more than two things at once.
When You May Need More Connections
* A family of four has TVs in multiple rooms, a younger kid watching cartoons, the oldest kid watching a movie, and parents watching the news . In this case, a 2-connection plan won’t be enough—they’d be using 3, but likely need atleast 4, if the parents wanted to watch separate things.
### Key Takeaway
Your connection limit equals the maximum number of streams you can run at the same time. Choose a package based on how many people (or devices) in your household (or who have your login info) are likely to all watch something simultaneously.
If connection limits are exceeded, all users (using the same login) will experience buffering/disconnects, as the devices "fight" for a connection. When the connection amount goes back to the limit or below, playback will return to normal.
